What we've been up to!

The last few weeks have been really busy it seems like, Chris has been working a lot and did his first project on the Interdiction team!! He got a call last week telling him he made the team. He was so excited and had so much fun on his first project. I hope he know's I am super proud of him of all of his hard work and pursuing what he really enjoys. Way to go Chris we love you!!
We also had a chance to go to a hockey game at the Maverik Center and we were in the VIP box it was super fun! and best part it was free 99! We went with some other UHP people and it turned out to be a really fun time thanks for inviting us Bj and Alisha!
Chris also had kind of a scary thing happen at work he was called to a crash on a snowy day and as he was pulling up to it another car crashed on the other side of the road so he decided to go to that one first since it was blocking a lane and when he got out to put flares out he heard some screeching and looked up as a car was headed his way luckily he got out of the way in time and it hit his car instead of him. THANK HEAVENS!! I am so glad that he was watched over and got to come home safe to our family. I am so grateful the lord looks out for my family and answers prayers. We have also been sick for like a month straight I swear Brooksey has had two horrible colds and in between that we all had the stomach flu that was horrible! Now chris and I are also sporting the last cold that Brooksey had... I'm thinking we've had enough sickness to last a lifetime! Anyway that's my novel for now hopeful I can remember to update more :)

He isnt really naughty he is just a buster he needs an off switch for church and I am a lone ranger now since chris has to work on sunday's so I'm like fine.. Lay on the floor I gotta pick my battles here. He is a funny little dude! 

Fall time!

It's been a while since i've updated and I promise I haven't gone of my rocker! Lol it probably wasn't a good idea to leave my blog as the last post I did. Anyway we have been SO busy it seems like.

For Brooksen: He has learned how to WALK finally!! It is so cute to see him bust around the house as this little person I just love it! He is now almost 15 months I can't believe he is that big!  He can say what's that, Jacks, lyza, Nana, Papa,   DADA 24/7, grandma. In his own little of course! He loves to "lead the music" at church. He loves to wave at everyone and "show his muscles." He loves to dance like crazy to any kind of music it's cute! He's good at playing peek a boo and thinks it's hilarious! He's fun to take shopping and to run errands he's my little buddy I just love him and his cute little personality he's becoming such a fun little guy. He's super super easy and way good at home and just loves to play he's hard to take to church cuz he just wants to bust around and visit with everyone. In fact today we left mid sacrament meeting cuz he was throwing a massive tantrum! He gave everyone a good laugh ;) I just love my little Boo Boo!

For Christopher: He just started a new schedule weekend days. Hopefully it'll be good I really have enjoyed him getting home at 4 that is SO nice! Not having him at church is hard but ya gotta do what ya gotta do. Him and his family did a lot of hunting and they got 2 deer they were very excited about that! He loves his job and is very good at it we've been really blessed with his job and I am so glad he really enjoys it! He just applied for the Interdiction team and were really hoping that he will be able to be part of that he wants to be on it really bad and I think it would suit him quite well! Him and brooksey are buddies and brooksey always asks for him and always want's daddy to hold him it melts my heart to see chris as a dad. I sure love my boys!

For Me: I have been really busy with hair appointments and my calling. It seems like we have done so many Relife Society activites. They have all turned out really good and it's been fun getting to know people better in my ward. I have really enjoyed working with the women I do. They are so much fun. It's been nice to have some extra money doing hair and enjoying some adult conversation. I have done a lot of fun crafty projects and of course my annual Halloween party! I am a weirdo I love to throw parties especially for halloween it is my favorite holiday! We also had some really cute family pictures taken that I am oh so happy with! I also turned 24 and had a wonderful birthday!

I think that covers pretty well what we've been up to the past few months I sure love my family and am so grateful for them. They make me so happy and I couldn't live without them! sorry for the novel!

sleeplessness and anxiety

Lately I have had the lovely pleasure of experiencing anxiety and not being able to sleep for absolutely no reason... Anxiety is one of the hardest things I've ever had to deal with and when you add not sleeping on top of it I gotta say it's a humdinger... i know there's always a reason for every thing and I may never really understand the reasons I just have to rely on the lord and carry on. I know the lord loves me and it will pass. I have so much to be grateful for and sometimes I have too much self pitty and think I shouldn't have to deal with this especially when I don't understand it. But I have the most supportive family that helps me get through it when it's hard. Chris has been my rock and he will never know how much I truly appreciate his love and support I couldn't do it without him. And the rest of my family who is willing to listen to me whine when I feel alone. I have a perfect baby boy who lifts my spirits when I need it most. I am a healthy person. I have a wonderful home. I have everything I need to make me perfectly happy even though life isn't necessarily perfect right now. This post isn't to be a downer just to help me get the good and the bad out. Don't worry I haven't gone off my rocker i am still very happy and wouldn't change my life the road is just a little bumpy but i can get through anything with the lords help. So as I write this from my phone at 2 am I can't help but try and make the best of but my situation.

Birthday lunch and shopping for Tahnee!

Today we had lunch and shopping for Tahnee for her birthday which is tomorrow! Happy birthday T!! It was so fun to go out to lunch and shopping as girls we haven't done that in SO long so it was a much needed girls day with my mom and sisters!

Happy Birthday Brooksen!!

Yesterday we celebrated Brooksen's 1st birthday! I cannot believe he is 1! It is so crazy to me that it has already been a year I have had so much fun watching him grow and learn SO much! I can't believe how much they learn in a year he is such a smart FUNNY cute sweet little boy! I love him like crazy and am the luckiest mom on the planet! I will do his 12 month post later but now it's PARTY TIME! We had such a fun time at the party and he had so much support from everyone I wanna thank everyone for coming I really appreciate it! He was completely spoiled! Happy Birthday Brooksen we love you SO much!!
